You can take the TPMS from the spare and put a biggest metal clip on it and put it in the glove box.

Stopped by discount tire today and they scanned all the sensors. My back left is not communicating, which they said means dead battery, and back right battery is low. They charge $60 per aftermarket sensor +$10 installation for each.

Rock Auto has the OEM denso sensor for $32 + shipping.

Does anyone know if discount tire will install and program sensors I bring in? Forgot to ask them while I was there.

In the OBDLink app, which tire is which under the TPMS values? For example, is ID1 the front driver, ID2 the front passenger, etc? Just got my OBD dongle and was playing with the different displays last night.

On my '13 GX, the car doesn't know which ID is which tire. If you see on my screenshots how they're not in order it's because I figured out which ID is which tire and arranged them so they were in the order of FL, FR, RL, RR, Spare. But that was two tire rotations ago and now they're not in that order (apart from the spare).

Maybe via techstream you can figure out what TPMS ID belongs to what tire? But think that would require you to know the serial/registration number of each sensor.

Default how to reset TPMS on the GX

Hey guy, need some help and advice here. Due to the lovely Texas frigid weather, the GX shown the low tires pressure. I aired up to the spec on the side sticker of the GX, all 4. Then the spare. Anyone knows how to reset the light.?

2010-2019 models

• You can pull the codes with Techstream or product like OBD Link
You may have a sensor that has failed or battery has died

TPMS Delete

Doesn't driving around a bit clear it? Working assumption is it's not failed in someway of course.

Good point... I had assumed OP had already driven around and light had not gone off.

I was actually referring to batteries in the TPMS sensors themselves. In my experience they usually last at least 7 years or more.

I haven't tested but there is a way to pull TPMS codes with terminated wire on OBD port (without TS or reader) and TPMS light flashes

Recently dealt with this a few times and shortly after filling the tire, no more error light while parked.

I have the OBDLINK MX+ and an 11 GS 350. It will not read the Tire Pressure Pids.
I get two weird PIDs about status (I should have pids for pressure and temp).

System should be very similar to this... I guess I have to contact their support.

Scangauge uses the same PIDS for may Older Toyotas https://www.scangauge.com/support/x-...a-lexus-scion/

My research led to to this CPU using a Kbus protocol.

Seems the GX is STILL Using this first gen system (which just has a lamp).

I would reach out to their support.

IME: No issues with OBDLink MX+ & OBDLink on my '12 GX 460 reading TPMS pressure on all tires including spare.

I would like to try passing those scangauge codes in a terminal with the MX+. Then I could write an app.

I tried a while back with an different obd2 adapter, I got random stuff back.
