IMO: While it may be the same sensor.. nothing in any documentation I have seen from owner's and factory service manuals that show a way for visible display of active PSI on dash until 2020 model year.

Thanks Acrad anytime you have some free time.

I'm probably going to get the OBD Fusion for Android and put in on Grom to see if I can get TMPS work there too haha

Just downloaded and connected OBD Fusion to GROM using my ELM327. The standard app is very basic. I just bought a Vgate OBD2 MC+ Bluetooth from Amazon so I can use both IPhone and Android and it will arrive Friday. It is supposed to be very similar to OBDLink without the software. But since I already have OBDFusion, I don't want to spend too much for the MX+.

The reason I want BT is it can connect to GROM on BT and GROM can connect its wifi to my phone's hotspot for internet.
I also bought an android air mouse to use on the GROM too as the OEM screen is hard to work with.

Will report back on how it works out.

At the dealer getting the sensor replaced - the service manager said they charge about $250 total to replace each which includes a $90 charge to reprogram. That seems like a lot. Its covered by the VSA over the CPO so I don't need to shop around, but sheesh that seems like a ton. I had the 4 others replaced under the CPO a couple years ago when they failed when I had all 5 tires replaced (I guess they didn't do the spare at the time). The GX is now almost 10 YO, but I never have had to replace the TPMS sensors in my '07 IS250. Is this a common failure for the GX?

Wow that is a lot for the replacement. Mine is going on to 13 years so they could go any time. I'll probably have America's Tires replace them or have them put in and get the ID and use Tech Stream to program them.

The light is flashing then stays solid now and my rear right tire is displaying -14.5. I'm going to get a set of Denso 550-0103 and see if America's Tires can install them when I bring it in to fix the tire balancing.
I've read that some reported America's tires had some issue re-programming some aftermarket TPMS, anyone knows if this is due certain type/models of the sensors?

Alternatively, I could bring it to a corner's tire shop and have them just install the sensor to one tire and use Techstream to program it.

i think the problem most have is with fake Denso’s. The real Denso sensors are OEM just put in a Denso box

I got 4 denso modules but America Tires can't read them. They said only dealer can re-program these lol.

I checked the ID on the old ones and they are in hex but the ID that OBDFusion displayed are in decimal, are they the same? I converted them from hex to decimal but they don't match.

I'm going to take out Techstream next.

If America’s can’t read them you might have the wrong sensor. What part # did you get

Denso 550-0103, which I read that are compatible with the GX. They kept saying since they are not sold by them, their tool couldn't read it. It seems like they are pushing to buy stuffs from them.

I successfully registered the new tpms using Techstream. I reused the spare old ID.

Default TPMS question, 23 GX

I'm the proud owner of a '23 Nori Green Blackline. I just turned 1000 miles and am very happy with it. The truck came equipped with Michelin Latitude HP tires on 18" wheels. They ride great on the highway and are very quiet, but I have no faith in them for use in the snow or the light overlanding I plan to do with the truck. I picked up a set of factory take-off wheels for dirt cheap and am looking to put 3-peak rated all terrain tires on them for winter and off road use. So I have 3 questions related to the TPMS system:

1. Does anyone have the Lexus part number for the factory TPMS sensors?
2. Has any tried aftermarket sensors with good success?
3. What happens if I don't run TPMS sensors. In my F250, I get a light on the dash and an occasional chime warning. What type of dramatics will the GX do if there are no sensors detected?

I also see in the owners manual that the truck will learn new factory sensors without having to take it to the dealer for a reset.

Any help will be appreciated

On my 2021 GX I use the relearn when doing my seasonal tire changes and it works great, sorry I cannot say if your experience will be as good on your 2023 although I would guess it will work just fine..
Living in the great white north I stay away from "multi-season" tires, in my opinion the best tires for winter are dedicated winter tires designed for snow & ice. My choice are Nokian Hakkapeliitta 9 studded winter tires.
