Default 2018 GX Build thread...

So I’ve started modding the truck and the goal is to have a nice looking truck that’s focused more on off roading than on road luxury. Don’t want to have the typical mall crawler looking SUV.

So here are the mods ive done so far...
1) FN BFD wheels with stock rubber. Will go bigger with the rubber later on.. just don’t feel like getting a new set of tires for a new truck.
2) Blk TRD license plate frame..
3) Tinted front two windows with ceramic tints to match the rear privacy glass.

Future mods..
1) Chrome delete
2) after market roof rack.. haven’t decided on which one
3) Paint the brake calipers
4) Bigger tires
5) Off-road lights
6) Sport pkg taillights (can’t stand the clear lens)
7) small lift with bigger tires

Anything else you guys would do? Don’t want an extensive build. Just a simple setup. See below for pics

Ha,
3) Paint the brake calipers
What color? Considering this with my street wheels.

I’m thinking about a brembo red with blk TRD decal. All of my other vehicles have blk wheels and red calipers and I want to match this one with them.

Black with white decal looks more suited for this car, especially on a white car. I would go with brighter color such red or neon green If it is Cayenne turbo.

I see your point.. but if my wheel choice was more geared towards a classy style than off-road focused I’d do black calipers. But given that I’d be hetting rid of the chrome and have a matte blk wheel... it’ll be a better match to go with red calipers.
