Mine's still sitting in the box....I waited to install after Howard reported the initial issues with the software. We did get a software update from the factory a few weeks ago but I didn't get a chance to play with it before I got in a fender bender last week. Now it will need to wait until she gets back from the shop.

I have spoken with factory, for any meaningful discount, your are looking at its quantities in 100s. for just few units, will not make much of difference.
My initial testing resulted several issues that I felt that I don't want to trade off (others may feel differently), in particular:
- A/C fan speed no longer as an continue adjustable, rather 4 steps like my grandpa's Buick. (new software did fix the display for F)
- You will loose SAT and HD radio. But that is subjective. Since the unit heavily rely on on-line resources, this may not be an issue too many.
- The screen size is actually TOO BIG, made the entire dash out of balance. If it would be a 12" might be perfect. The way everyone saw on the picture is because you have no reference. When you sit in the car, you have all the visual cues, then a 16" gigantic screen right in front of your eyes,... just didn't work for me.
- Not a big fan of Android myself. But that just me.
Again, those are very subjective view points.

This looks like a nightmare waiting to happen. While currently busy, I'm sure Boeing can assist with any software problems.

i think you could pull off a big screen like that if you could find a way to raise it up a bit, but that means losing or finding a way to incorporate the vents.

this I could kinda see. with the factory screen you can kinda glance at it or look at it from the corner of your eye as you drive. but with a screen like that, the screen is so big and goes down so low, that you have to look all the way down to see parts of the screen. for those having trouble picturing what I am saying, think about how bad it would be if you had to look down each and every time you wanted to turn the volume control ****...because the bottom of the screen is lower than that.

I agree. I wish car navigation system is less integrated with everything else in the car. I believe my Nav hard drive died and it took everything along with it. I have no radio nor bluetooth. I wish things were simple so that we could upgrade the audio system and not have to worry about steering wheel control *****, etc.
