take pics, video, a guide and document as much as you can so we can diy and contribute to more firmwares. Looking forward to your thread.

I got this same generic response, and I am waiting for some more in detail, includes availability on testing order and cost, etc. Will keep everyone posted when I received info back.

I had a length conversation with the manufacture (in Chinese) Here are some key info: System actually retain the OEM head unit for radio and Mark Levinson amplifier. Expecting to start manufacturing late this month. On paper, it seems covered lots functions includes TPMS, but in my initial conversation, I am a little bit skeptical as many of those were only tested in Asia market spec GX. I have some video clips which I have to upload later. I have tentatively working on an opportunity to have the test unit when it became available. The retail price that they have targeted will be around $620 plus shipping. But until there is a final functioned products, anything could change. I will continue work with them and keep everyone posted.

Tell them you'll be their US tester for a significant discount (or free) and if it works you can produce a video install guide, etc

$500 is great for a factory integrated system, and im sure they have the market cornered since no biggies support the existing platform. However, not much to go buy besides playing dvds....

1) 2gb of Ram is low, but since no one is multitasking I would think its sufficient.
2) 32gb of SD storage or a MMC? Support for external?
3) Whats the processor like?
4) Is it laggy like the other Tesla Style units I have seen in the past?

To be honest, I have no idea, the service adviser said they had to order the map to update since the 2010 needs to do it via wirefire connector. I assume that they may not have the part or connector to do so.

You may be right and that's what he's waiting for. It supposed to arrive today but it's not so I'll have the RX loaner for another day.
