System has dedicated front and side video inputs where you can feed the video signal to them. The unit has the on-screen switch where you can "press" to show the video from those sources.

So like Aux 1 or Aux 2..didn't think this was for camera inputs since you mentioned rear view camera issues due to incorrect harness, but just wanted to clear it up.

Does this support driver side mirror camera ?

The cable harnesses comes with system supports GX with OEM front, side, and rear cameras as a plug and play configuration. Which means, for anyGX with OEM Driver Support Package, or Executive Package in Canada. For other, there are inputs for side, rear camera(video) input for after market cameras. The immediate issue that I have noticed that is for all GX without Driver Support Package with only rear backup camera, it is not a plug and play solution with the original cable harnesses. In discussion with the manufacturer, they will revise the cable harnesses to support the plug and play for rear backup camera only GX, and you can still add after market side and front cameras. It is not that difficult to support OEN backup camera, all it needs a 6v power source to, and video out from the main harness off the OEM nav screen. As I found out the OEM backup camera's power (6v) was from the nav display screen unit. Since this replacement took out the screen unit, the backup camera lost power. For future production, manufacturer is going to tap a 6v from CAN bus to supply the OEM backup camera and add a harness connector to get the video from the OEM display connector.

What are you exactly referring? If you are asking the parking sonar sensors display, yes, the system does get the parking sensor data and displayed on screen when the car in reverse or forwarding speed below 8 mph.

No. Those are OEM Park Assist ECU functions. The tablet head unit will display whatever OEM had, no self contained "park assist function" or dynamic guide lines.

The Rhino Radio version mentions an available CarPlay module, which I would absolutely love to have. I don't recall the original version posted claiming that feature, could be wrong.

Can a camera input be used for a dashcam with these? either a bluetooth cam or something hardwired, either usb or video in? There's android apps already and it would be great to be able to only add a small cam instead of an entire dashcam unit.

Id like to know the relationship between the vendors or at least the products. we have a good thing with hzhao's communications that he's been having and it could be useful in the future, specifically if we want something modified, etc.
I'm ready to get one, these seem to have everything i want already.

The youtube vid we saw earlier is used in the rhino radios site pics. I remember because i have a very similar floor liner. This same demo vehicle is also used by different sellers on ali. Maybe all at the same place but different people

hzhao, are any of these guys the ones you work with? Or is there a way to coordinate our orders for good pricing, and for me more importantly to have an 'in' to the development team?
