Just curious on the average cost of a Lexus dealership oil change cost . Long time Toyota owner here ( 2015 Tundra 4.6L ), girlfriend just got a 15 GX 460 and the Toyota dealership is close to her house (can you use a Toyota dealership ?) and would like to use it for oil changes .
thanks in advance !

For an oil change, you're probably looking around $75 at most places... and yes, a Toyota dealership can handle the oil change.

Toyota is around $70-$75
Lexus $120-$140 - free coffee, free soda, free granular bars, fruits and vanilla cake, so load up those to make up the differences Haha!

Lexus will also pick up the vehicle and bring it back afterwards, to your home or work, or get you a loaner Lexus if you prefer.

is Lexus really that much? i have CPO now with the complimentary services for 20k, to keep the warranty i must use them for the oil changes instead of doing myself. $75 isn't too bad but $120+ is a rip off.
i do like to take advantage of their free soda/coffee. and my Lexus dealer has a rooftop patio, massage chairs, pool table, movie theater.....i have remote worked from there a few times now.

You get a report in an email, plus they might even check your floor mat installation! I took it once or twice to see if it was worth it. The time saved scheduling and then coordinating was enough for me to do my own. Sometimes I wonder if they even do 1/2 of the work they are supposed to, the oil housing was on way too tight, and the bolts going into the small crossmembers broke when I loosened them. Don't know how they changed the inner filter without removing those, but it did not appear as though they had ever been removed.

.
If they are telling you that and I am no lawyer by far... but that would seem to be a violation of the Magnusson Moss Warranty Act.

You should be able to do your own maintenance as long as you keep your receipts to stay within warranty compliance.

That's just the oil change only, The actual 10k services is around $300.00 which includes oil change, cabin filter change, inspections and other minor stuffs. Not worth it.

I want to say when I called a couple years back it was like $90 for regular oil and ~$130 for synthetic.

I DIY with mobil synthetic.

i am def going to get some clarification then on this, i would rather do it myself. a full M1 synth change would be under $40 and half hour of my time

the 10k services are a joke. i just had my 40k complimentary service done. i asked what is covered and they said oil change and tire rotation (free at discount and quicker). they did replace my battery free of charge though.
