New Tire Option? Michelin Primacy LTX
I was doing some research on different tires and came across these on tire rack. Does anyone have experience with them? The only size I can find is 265/65/18.

These look like a newer version of the LTX M/S. I used to have those on my 4Runner back in the days (on 20” wheels)
if if they are the same...they are great tires for on road. My old ones ran for 70k and still looked like they had another 30k on them.

They do have similar tread patterns however these are rated for 55k instead of 70k. Michelin's page currently isn't working so I haven't been able to find any additional info.

Check Tire Rack for info and reviews on the Michelin Defender LTX in the 110T version. Discount Tire regularly stocks them in the original equipment size 265/60-18. These tires are pretty popular here. They have a 70K warranty and are exceptionally smooth riding tires.

This tire is geared more toward comfort for SUV and light truck, similar as the premier LTX is geared toward crossover. It has lower tread depth (9/32) = low mileage warranty 55k miles versus the Defender LTX 12/32 & 70k miles.
If you live in snowy region or lots of rains then get the Defender LTX, otherwise, Primacy LTX is good for highway miles.
Note: 265/65/18 is the perfect size for the gx460.

Yeah I really like the look of a 265/65/18 tire too. There is still a good amount of tread left on my current tires but the Primacy LTX are an option when the time comes. I hope by then there will be some customer reviews.

Nice. I plan on sticking with Michelins. Depending on how the Primacy LTX's are received it's between them and the Defenders at 265/65/18. The Tour HPs are still an option if a good deal pops up.
