Default GX 460 Pricing

Since it looks like we started looking for our GX a few weeks too late and now all of the Premium 2018's are gone, I'm trying to narrow down our options. We don't need something right away but we were hoping to get something sooner than later for our growing family. That being said, I'm struggling with the thought of paying around $47k for a 2016 L Certified GX when 2018's were just selling for less. I will get over it and ultimately we will have to decide to wait until around Q3 of next year when the 2020's are released but can anyone help with the following?

- Any good deals being had for 2019's since we are close to year end?
- How negotiable are dealers on L/Certified models? I would assume there is some room to negotiate but I'm sure its limited.

Thanks in advance.

1) Don’t buy a used one. No point given what you can get a new one for.
2) 2019s MSRP are the same as 2018s and their invoice and holdback are the same. Which means you can still get a new 2019 premium that’s stickers at 57k for around 49k plus tax and title.
3) at the moment they have 1500 Lexus cash on the 2019s so the only difference between my deal on a 2018 at 45300 and what you can get a new one now is 2500.

Hope this helps.

Personally I'd wait until they offer bigger Lexus cash on the 2019s, even if it meant waiting 6mos+

That is helpful and along the lines I was thinking. The holdback is helpful. The first dealer I spoke with basically split the difference between the two above prices but after we spoke on the phone had a different tune.I would think dealers would be more aggressive as the month comes to a close. If I could get one for $2,500 more than yours I would pull the trigger. The $2,500 would be worth it as opposed to waiting 6 months (to me).

Thanks again JDM.

If I could get the difference down to around $2,500 I may pull the trigger. My wife is hooked after this past weekend and it may be worth my while to get it sooner than later. Craigyyy, are you also in the market?
