Glove Compartment Door won't close
Hi everyone,
The latches that come out of the door in my glove compartment are stuck inside the door so the glove compartment door won't stay closed. I sprayed a little DW40 but it didn't work. Does anybody have a better way to approach this issue? The same is happening to the barn door in the back, it's driving me crazy!

The door doesn't seem to be serviceable, I pried all over and the latch moves with the outer door cover. Not sure if you did or not but I would use the red straw with the WD-40 and spray deep in both ends. If I push on one latch the other one retracts with it. Maybe something is in a bind so beating on it my release it.

I never paid attention to how that glove box latch worked until now. I wonder if 460 door operates like this 200 series version?

That looks right, a mention in the link to drill a hole where the screw is located. This would be my next step and just plug it after the problem is solved.

I just had the same issue.. Before I decide to change the door I tried to fix it myself and it works! Use a heat gun ot hair dryer to heat the door first coz they are pretty much gleued together. Then pry the 2 panels open and you can see the compartment inside. The issue is the grease is too old and not lubercating anymore. Loosen the screw and clean them up then apply new grease and it will be working again. Use hot gleu to reattacth both panel and it just work as new! Hope this will help whoever has the same issue.
