This reminds me of my old school daily driver nissan maxima. The previous owner liberated the car with slapping on faux wood like this throughout the interior. I'm not a fan of this at all.
I had a '87 SE when I was a younger and a '02 GLE later on

interior appointments from Lexus look way too chinzy on the GX. Would like some better materials. The carid thing is outrageously hideous, reminds of the "gold trim" packages of yore. Open pore wood, leather, or brushed real metal would be nice. Of course this isnt the Lx/ls so id be fine with the current RX level interior appointments/ upgrade.
Sort of answered my question about the quality. Even though I do have the luxury model the wood is not as nice or rich looking as the burl wood I had in my 2008 GX470. The selection of wood choices is so limited for the newer models. I would not put in anything in my 2022 if the quality looked like bad. Was looking for info on the quality and if any kits fit 2022 luxury model.
