I bought it from the parts department of the dealer, kept the sales department out of it. I explained that I just bought a new GX from them and was going to buy a hitch from an online parts guy but wanted to see if they could offer me a discount. I don't remember what I paid but it was about the same as online was with the shipping cost. I preferred doing that to keep the sale with my dealer in case there was a problem, no wait and no worry about shipping damages. I'd touch base with your dealers part department manager and see what they are willing to do for you.

You will want to print the attached installation instructions and read them to be sure you know what you are getting yourself into. There are no instructions included with the hitch so be sure to have these handy.

... about as simple as it gets ... just add a zip-tie for an extra secure harness routing.

While installing the hitch is exactly brain surgery I wouldn't call it as simple as it gets. There are three different length M12 bolt sets, two different length M8 bolt sets, some bolts and a bracket that are not reused and bolt torquing specifications. Do what you want how you want to do it but I prefer doing things the right way.

Great information. Yes it might be a challenge without that installation guide.
