I was at a buybbuy baby other day ..I made sure i park my car away from the normal traffic, when I come back there is a shopping car infront of my car. Seems like a light scratch (I think it can buffed out). So I think someone must have just let the car in the middle and then wind did its job. Whats up with people just dont caring about other peoples car. This is 2nd time in a week other way I was a outlet and some jerk park their car right next to me and opened the door and hit while I am sitting in the car. Theres plenty of other open spaces around and they are not even close to the shop.

What are you guys experiences do you confront people if they just leave carts next to you car?

 

 

That's why I want WIDE rock sliders and I have steel bumpers! If someone opens their door, they'll just bang into the rock slider! Doesn't bother me if they ding their door on my slider!
Another remedy would be to apply some clear vinyl strips along the doors, maybe a foot wide from the belt line up and clear vinyl your bumpers. It may not prevent a ding, but at least you won't get any scratches!

 

My family was sitting in our Mercedes SUV a few years back when this guy next to us purposely slammed the door into our car. I got out and asked for his insurance and driver license. When I called the insurance they denied responsibility. The damage on my SUV was very noticeable. Some people sucks.

 

R3loader - yes, I agree. If you confront them, they could have diseases and spit in your face, or pull a gun and bust a cap in your A**. You never know what kind of unhinged moron you will encounter.
