I have seen situations where the spare wasn't accessible because there was no access to under the vehicle (think in sand buried to the frame). If I were wheeling my rig often it wouldn't matter if the upsized tire fit because I would have a spare mounted somewhere more accessible. Something to think about.

I just had Nitto Terra Grappler G2 265/65/18's mounted on a stock 2015 gx460 Luxury. No rubbing and the spare did fit in the spare well. I haven't driven on the highway yet but around town they feel great. I got rid of the floaty ride and that was my goal.

Do you have a hitch ? ... and if so, what Manufacturer / Model ? Without this context ... "it fits in the spare well " is worthless information.

Looks like a smaller compact hitch from the factory. It’s covered by part of the rear bumper cover. I’ll remove that section and get a picture and hopefully a brand. Tires feel great up to 75mph.

Initially I thought it had a small hitch but now I’m not sure. The wiring is there so I thought that meant it had a tow package. Here is a picture from underneath.

Anyone have any before/after pics? 60 vs 65 isnt much difference, like 1/2 inch diameter radius but a lot of what I see is how it fills up some gap so well. 1/2"? really? sure maybe once with weight on it the top could go slightly more than 1/2, but lets see a pic if you have any.

... it's actually 1.04" larger in diameter.

The slightly larger tires don’t look at all out of place, in fact, the stock tires looked too small. My opinion, the bigger tires make the vehicle look more like an SUV and less like a mini van.

Could not agree more ... the /60's look lost in the wheel wells, with the /65's (1-inch larger in diameter) being perfect ... with no rubbing.

Anyone with BFG KO2 in this size AND stock suspension? I read on another thread that there was rub. True or not?

From what I have gathered any 265/65r18 will fit with no rubbing and also fit in the spare slot with the factory hitch.

i dont recall any 265 65 18s rubbing. there are a couple of other sizes where there can be rubbing depending on the distance of the wheels to the front. this can be adjusted.

Not the best pics but the overall effect is of a much more filled out wheel well. Original Pirellis in 265/60. KOs in 265/65
