I tried it just as the video showed and even tried using the "unlock" button just for giggles. I get a single beep, but after altering the seat position, locking and then unlocking the door, nothing happens.
I tried this about four times and then tried a couple variations.
Nothing, nada, nichts, het, rien, niente. In any language, it's the same...

Didn't work on my 2016 Premium. When I press and hold set and lock button together, nothing happens. I hear no beep. I have both memory button 1 and 2 set up with mine and my wife's preference. Just the key fob cant be set to memorize these settings.

I set this up a long time ago to associate the FOBs with memory setting. Works on my '12 Premium. I generally drive vehicle.... I probably need to re-associate #1 with the smart card. I don't remember if I did that or not.

Easy access memory seat.
Well it’s not easy access all the time. I use the #2 memory setting and my wife uses the #1. When she shuts the truck off the seat moves back maybe an 1”. She is short and I’m tall so I have to move the seat back before I can get in after she is done. I actually had my thighs pinned under the steering wheel a couple days ago. I had to tilt the steering wheel up to make room before her setting was adjusted. When I turn the truck off and unbuckle the seat moves all the way back and the steering wheel tilts all the way up. This happens only with me for some reason. The wife uses the same steps that I do before exiting.

There are 2 settings for the easy access: 1) partial and 2) full (I forget the exact verbiage) I suspect your GX may be set to partial, so it moves the seat back and tilts the wheel up a set amount from the driving position. Maybe if you change the setting to “full”, it will adjust a lot more when your wife is the last to drive.
When I first bought my GX, it was set to “full”, and when I got in, it was ridiculous how far back the seat was (I’m not tall, only 5’10’). I changed it to partial, and it is a lot better for me. My wife is 5’7”, so we are similar heights and it works perfect for us; although the GX is my daily and she hardly drives it.
