... from "an article" ... must be an expert ... especially when using terms like 'bigger weight" ... must be a technical term for those who don't know the difference.
Bottom line ... the GX460 is a truck based platform that has the suspension margin to handle heavier tires. Stiffer sidewalls provide improved directional stability and steering response ... no matter the platform.

Whether GX suspension is stout enough to handle extra weight is irrelevant in this discussion. Increasing unsprung weight is BAD on-road. There is NO DEBATE on this. Not sure why some of you are arguing this.
Stiffer sidewall is great and all...IF you have same sidewall height as stock tires. Do you??? Because IF you upsize, then all that stiffness “advantage” goes down the drain!! Your increased sidewall height just knock out your stiffness argument!
Now, if you increase sidewall height AND increase unsprung mass, then...well....ya know............your argument is nonsensical.
