Default 2nd row seat, LATCH tether cover

First time posting, long time listening - was wondering if someone could help me figure out which part I need to replace a chewed up LATCH top tether cover on the 2nd row seat back. 2015 GX, base+premium, 60/40 split, not captain's chairs. Made it as far as this parts.com listing, but can't really tell from the diagrams exactly what I need. It's the left seat (behind the driver's side), which might matter.

Just adopted a 1yo puppy, and my wife accidentally left the cover up or latched his leash to that - not sure.

TIA for any guidance/pointers. If anyone has advice/info beyond what part I need (like tips on how to install it?) - that would certainly be appreciated, too. This is my first attempt at fixing something on the GX. Just starting to find manuals/guides/etc.

Cheers.

Are you referring to the cover below the star in this pic?

If so I bought one that was black from Motors Head Japan for $10.18 shipped from Japan last year. Part wasn't listed on their site but they were able to obtain and invoice me via Paypal.

PN: 7299660160C0 - black

PN: 7299660160E2 - sepia

Seems to be a common part used in 4R, LX 570, LC and the GX

IIRC... the old broken one should just pop out of there with a plastic trim tool. New one just snaps in.

Perfect, that seems doable 😉

I've emailed them, as you said, the part isn't listed in their store.

When I flipped the second rows up and down, I always have concern that I would break that plastic latch. It’s good to know replacement part is cheap.

Unfortunately, we cannot supply 7299660160E2.
It is a part for export markets only, and cannot be supplied from Japan.
Damn. Not sure what that means exactly, other than I have to look elsewhere.

They only sell parts that are used on JDM vehicles sold in Japan.... I can only speculate that the sepia version is not used on vehicles in-country but the black one is.
