Default Rear Cargo Tray

I know Lexus does not make a cargo tray for the GX 460. Has anyone found a good aftemarket tray - something plastic to protect the cargo area?

Do you mean all weather floor mat? Lexus still have plastic mat for 2nd row and cargo area, hope the all weather mat will come back soon.

And it will be more work if you have a harder mat at the cargo area when you suddenly need to use the 3rd row

Ideally I would like something more like a cargo tray that is plastic with a lip on it to make sure liquids don't spill in the cargo area. I don't use the thrid row seats.

I'm looking for the same thing. You might try Weathertech, but I'm not sure they have anything for the GX 460.

Do not get WeatherTech... they are bad, just use the 09 model, never fit in the car

The size you need will depend on whether you or not you have rear air-conditioning. Units with rear air-conditiong lose a little floor space on the right (hinge) side and require a smaller mat or in your case ... a smaller tray.

Lightbulb GX460 Cargo organizer ; looking for ideas

I need some recommendations as to how to organize the cargo space in GX. I have 1 third row seat up most of the time which my 7 year old uses. I have 3 kids and the suv gets filled fast especially if we have to go to a grocery store. I also keep a small stroller in the back at all times. I am looking for ideas as to what you guys use to keep things sensible.

to add - pretty much everything wants to fall off the cargo area most of the time I open the rear door.- very annoying. I can put a cargo mat like weather tech but then I can't use one of the 3rd row.

OEM cargo net pocket works well to keep stuff in place and from rolling out the door

the best will be if you make something that suits you. i've got a two piece false floor that folds up for access. theres also a small door that keeps things from falling out when i open the door.

Have it but does not help in my case, stuff just slides out as soon I open the door.

I got a cargo organizer (3 sections, fabric that can collapse) from Walmart. It has my air pump, tow rope, jumper cables, etc.. Since it is collapsible, i can squeeze it into a corner in the GX cargo area. It was under $20 I think.

If you want that type, just look at local Walmart or on Amazon.

Even with weathertech, stuffs are still rolling out the door due to the slightly slanted floor. You can get a cheap cargo mat at costco and cut it to fit one side of the third row. It is made with heavy rubber to it won't slide easily and it has a lip to prevent stuffs from sliding out. I probably do the same if I have my third row up.

Or you can get something like this. I have a similar one for my van and really like it.

Just FYI, the 4th Gen 4Runner cargo net has the bungee at the bottom: Toyota PT347-89031. I recommend this version over the others I have tried for both my 4Runner and GX
