Default Daytime running lights question

I am the owner of a new 2019 premium GX 460. Love this car and formerly had a 2005 GX 470 and a 2013 GX 460 before this 2019 model. I apologize in advance for my embarrassing and silly question. So I have my lights set to Auto and daytime running lights turned on in settings. I assume my daytime running lights are on, but I can never really tell. Am I correct to assume there is no indication anywhere on the instrument panel that my daytime running lights are on? If my lights are on auto, headlights not showing as being on, can I assume my daytime running lights are still on? Short of staring into the back of another car to see if my daytime running lights are on, I can't really tell when I am driving. Again, sorry for this very embarrassing and silly question. Thanks!

When your headlights are ON, there is a bulb indicator that comes on.

DRL = no indication. Get out of your car while its running and check for yourself.

You are correct, there is no indicate of DRL for US spec. Only Canadian spec car/truck will have the DRL indicator in instrument cluster by laws.
