So if we have AVS and switch to stiffer springs, then we should get away from the '50's Buick ride while keeping AVS intact? Right?
I'm thinking of trying this on my '19 Luxury if I can get some feedback from the forum.
My butt really can't feel the difference between modes. The AVS switch makes the wife happy because she thinks the ride is smoother when she gets in and switches it to comfort. Meanwhile she drives her RCF in Sport+ mode all of the time and enjoys the 'sporty feel'. Meanwhile, I'm over in the passenger seat wondering if my kidneys and spine will survive!

Hello guys,
I have a 2018 GX460 Luxury model. I am planning to lift the front with the spacers or new pair of coil springs. Since my truck has Adaptive Variable Suspension, will I be able to do these mods without messing up with the AVS system? Thank you so much!
regards

The detailed information in this thread is one of the things keeping me from swapping out to Bilstein's for a very mild lift. I have plenty of time yet before I need to make that decision.

I was wondering if I could keep stock struts up front and stock shocks in back with adding a larger stiffer front coil spring (say 1" or so) and use air bag trick on rear. Was wanting to add a little weight to the front with some Victory sliders (and probably a few underbelly skids).
Thanks and good luck on the mod.
