If you turn off 3 zone in the settings all temperature settings will stay the same or are you looking at synced front row and independent temp for the 3rd zone?

Default AC Resetting After Starting Car

Hi Everyone!

I have a 2013 GX460 Premium with 35k on it. The other day the AC controls froze up and the air did not come of for a few minutes. Since then, on an intermittent basis when I restart the car it forget the previous setting and defaults to 75 degrees. The green auto light comes on, then turns off. After it cycles I can press auto and adjust the temperature to where I want it and it operates normally.

The filter has not been recently changed and all
of the fuses are good. Has anyone experienced this and have a solution? Not sure what it could be

try this, then search the codes you get on google "toyota 00000"

note it may take a couple tries to get it right.

Were you able to operate the radio and navigation or was it frozen on the climate screen?

Try running HVAC diagnostics as well.

I have no experience with this problem but my suggestion is to assess the condition of your battery and it may be a low cost troubleshooting step to replace it with another battery you may have. My thoughts are that if your battery is not in good condition, you could be dragging the voltage when starting resulting in problems in your electronics.

Default Recirculation Button Not Fully Sealing Cabin Air

Hi Ya'll. Having an issue with having outside odors and humidity messing up with the cabin air, both smell-wise and temperature. I have the recirculation button on but I have a feeling the blend door (my best guess) is not fully closed. I will have an occasional humidity and higher temp feel inside the cabin even though the a/c temp is set to low and recirculation is on. Any idea where to check and look at to possibly DIY a fix?
Thanks in adv.

IMO: You'd probably have to use Techstream to do an active test on that blend door mechanism to know for sure.

Any HVAC codes?

Don't have Techstream. How much and where to get it? I am guessing the only way to get the HVAC codes? I have no CEL or any warning lights on.

You can pull HVAC codes on the display. If it just shows 00 then no codes

Code definitions are at this link

Any chance the smells are from the extra humidity in HVAC system?

Do you see AC water under vehicle while parked behind front right wheel and behind the right rear wheel area? Just the normal runoff from AC that needs to drain..

Trying to confirm whether the drains are holding back any water
