Default HVAC fan noise

When my hvac fan is on low I can hear a slight noise, not quite a tick more like a bearing, has anyone else experienced this and what is the remedy?
Yes I know....Turn up the Radio.

i had one that had the fan come up off the shaft, the spring clip was loose and then the fan would sometimes hit the shroud. not on a lexus. took off the clip, smashed it a bit, reinstalled and was fixed.

Embarrassed to admit this but I had a noise from the fan and bought a replacement fan. Dropped the fan only to discover a twig had made it into the housing. Returned the replacement fan minus restocking but all is good now. I would suggest dropping the fan and taking look first before doing anything. From what I recall, it was pretty straightforward to get to fan.

Can the motor be lubricated? Mine was chirping pretty loud the other day when I started it below zero. Got quieter after it warmed up. But it sounded like a little lube wouldn't hurt... but not all electric motors have accessible oiling ports.

Default Normal for AC water to drip underneath GX460 the frame

Hello there

I just bought the car a few months ago and today while idling at my garage with AC on I have noticed water is dripping underneath the car through the stamping holes on the frame?
is that normal ? Shouldn’t the ac water be drained through a pipeline? Wouldn’t water drain through the frame causing corrosion and rust in the long run

Thank you all for helping out the newbie

Yeah as mentioned above, there is an AC drain line, but it's too short. You can DIY or find AC extension kits that will get that drip off your frame. Highly recommended.

... not as if this amount of water is an issue compared to road spray ...etc ... but if it makes one feel better ...

I suppose it depends on how long you plan to keep your vehicle. I've seen enough GX470 and 4Runner frames that have rotted in this exact spot thanks to the poor placement of the line from the factory, so for the pennies it costs to extend it, it felt like a no-brainer for me. YMMV

My mom's 2010 threw a "Climate Control System Error" message

Spent about an hour messing about. Checked the filter for any blend door issues, etc.

Finally tested the relay and saw that it was not engaging. $20 fix thankfully

Was this ever resolved? I'm noticing my 2015 has the same issue.
