Do you have a Toyota dealer nearby that might be cheaper? I'd probably be going dealer on this as well. Even after sourcing parts and supplies not really much savings.

Interesting this system uses the same fluid as AHC in LX470/LX 570.

It seems this is the pump PN that dealer uses---> 00002-12030-01

Been researching this a little. It looks like the fill port on the KDSS looks more like a standard hydraulic hose with quick disconnects. The pump is an air hydraulic foot pump. I am very tempted to do this process myself. Ttrying to find out more about the connector at the KDSS pump?

I was going to get a pump and some hoses and proceed on trying the process out myself. I found the pumps to be around $170 shipped and the hose with the couplers are not too expensive. However, I have found a resource that is going to perform the serviced for me for really reasonable price.

Parts stores like Auto Zone offer rental tools but nothing like this (that I found). If a rental option was available then DIY would be something to consider. Buying the necessary tools and never using them again seems like a waste of money if you have a reputable company do this.

I hear you Tecman. I was worrying that I would need another fill and bleed knowing my luck.

Anyone know if this part is the same? I bought a used KDSS piston with hoses in great shape. The part number on the piston is 48875 60032. I noticed the part number in Acrad's post has 48875 60033. I was planning to use the whole piston and hose set up since it is newer.

It looks like newer lexus use this 48875 60032 part number.

They are probably all compatible but this is what is shown in 7zap schematics. Maybe just different production runs.

I finally got this fixed. I bought a used front piston with the hose off a member on 4runner forums. Also, it only took 2 quarts of AHC fluid to get my system back in order. If someone need the fluid or the piston+hoses, let me know.

I didn’t know there was a dash indicator light for this, how many of you have seen this light up?
