Default Windshield wipers nozzle not working

I have an interesting situation. The rear wiper and nozzle squirt wiper fluid. The front two headlight wiper nozzle squirt fluid. The windshield nozzles do not squirt any wiper fluid. The wiper blades work but no fluid comes out of the windshield nozzles. Has anybody experienced this? 2010 GX.

Check under the hood to see if there's any kinks.

Good new sis that the pump is working! Bad news is that since the car is approaching 10 years, you may have worn out/torn rubber hoses going to the nozzles. I would first look and see if there are any discernable worn out places in the wiper hoses, and if they turn out ok, then disconnect one hose just where it connects with the windshield nozzle, to determine if water is pumping out. If water is flowing through the windshield hoses, you may have to clean out the nozzles which may of gotten clogged up over the years. Usually an easy fix, and you should, if necessary, be able to obtain replacement hoses at any car parts store.

Not sure that conclusion is correct. I believe the front, back and headlights washer are driven by separate pumps. I could be wrong but in logic.

Depending on the water used, it’s not uncommon to have clogged sprayers (if you use regular tap water). If that is the case and you want to know if the pump is bad or working, check under the hood and pull the hose from the spray nozzle - it water comes out then it’s not your pump, it’s your nozzle.

I finally got to check the hoses and no wiper fluid is coming out of the front hoses for the windshield. Does anyone know how to remove these plastic fasteners on the hood? It’s holding the fire mat to the hood.

I was also looking under the hood and I was trying to find out where the wiper fluid pump is located? Does anyone have a diagram?. It looks like I have to access it from under the car.

I have the inverse issue. Front windshield wipers squirt fluid. Rear windshield? Nope. I initially thought that the dealership might have not filled a secondary reservoir that feeds the rear windshield wipers, but I can find no mention of it using a different reservoir to the front. Anyone got any information that could help?

heres the clip

can use small pliers, a hemostat, the clip removal tool with a couple of indents, whatever.

also looks like you could use the 1" filter on that pump.
theres more than one pump. the one you most likely are looking for is attached to the washer jar. close to the passenger fog light.

should be another pump/motor on the jar.
a front and a rear, then something for the headlight washer if you have those

The unit looks like this. Three hoses are attached to the unit and is located under the passenger side bumper. It looks like all the pump mechanisms are integrated into this device.

Thanks for the advice. I purchased a trim removal tool. The clips that you posted are the same exact clips that I can find at Advanced auto parts. When I removed the clips from the GX most of them broke. I’ll just buy replacements. Now it’s onto trying to find where the wiper system is not working for the front windshield wipers. I was able to go under the front of the car on the passenger side and I was able to view the reservoir and the hoses and electrical connections coming from it. Everything looks OK with that so far. Now trying to diagnose the whole system.

pretty sure each pump motor connector only has 2 terminals, + and -
an easy check, just supply 12V direct to the connector
