Are you trying to do Crawl Control and MTS?

Do you have picture of where you were looking?

From a "stock" hardware standpoint it would appear for 2020 one will have to do both mods since the MTS controls are now part of the console switch assembly and no longer controlled with steering wheel switchgear.

Unfortunately ...until further technical documentation becomes available or 2020 owners discover that modules have been relocated it is anyones guess right now.

Default Drove 2020 GX for almost a week

I asked GX as a loaner while they service my LS. To my surprise, they gave me 2020 GX. Thought I would share my experience and some pics. I was considering GS, GX and LS, and settled for CPO 2016 LS about a month ago.

Though comparing LS to GX would be apple to orange, GX is in its own league. A capable, reliable, luxury off-road, and a true SUV. I drove mostly on the road-local and interstate, didn't get a change to take her on an adventure. Quite comfortable on the road, but felt cabin was little noisy, felt little under power going on-ramp and passing.

Beside front grill, head lights and steering wheel (safety features are now standard) I didn't notice any major changes. The wife is sold on GX though, but personally I like the 2020 RX better (more tech).

85940-60120

appears to be a relay for the windshield wipers and confirmed by dealer. This placed in same location of Driver Support Computer for MTS

Thanks for the review.

If Lexus is listening >>>> I love my GX460 but if you want me to buy a new one it will need to have at least 15% more power and an 8spd transmission. Please keep the rugged body-on-frame construction.

hah
they dont care what u or I think
As long as masses keep buying, they are happy.
obviously it needs better handling power and more tech to keep it inline with other suvs now that are still ahead of game.
Lx is also a 100 thousand dollar disappointment as one reviewer said.

I have read somewhere that this engine is capable to produce 347hp in another module in other part of the world but lexus decided to tune to 300hp for GX in NA. Does anyone know why Lexus decided to detune the engine for the GX? Will 4wheel drive system not handle more than that or what could be the reason?

That's my ideal color combination. I'm looking at the GX (researching to possibly buy one). Could you elaborate more on the cabin noise? Was it road noise, wind noise, or rattles? How would it compare to other vehicles (e.g. RX, LS, ES)? Thanks for your help!

Did you guys see the post about 1 headlight of 2020 GX is $5k. That's a whole down payment on a 2020 GX.
I dont mind paying between $500 to $1k for a the Grill but nothing more than that

I believe that's who they're referring to. Doug is slightly entertaining to watch, but his opinions need to be taken with a grain of salt. Though the LX and GX lack some of the latest and greatest tech, they're still far superior to their competitors in terms of ruggedness and reliability. My wife's Cayenne is only 6 years old, but the interior makes my parents' '19 (or maybe it's an '18... I forget) GX's interior look like it's from the early 2000's; however, pretty much everything fancy inside the Cayenne has failed at some point, which I know won't be the case with the GX (or an LX). Calling it a "disappointment" is pretty stupid if you ask me... I feel disappointed in the Porsche, and chances are he'd love the tech in it if he reviewed it back when it was new.

Not sure why they chose to detune it for the GX, but (correct me if I'm wrong) I don't believe they put the direct injection setup into the GX, unlike the GS460 (342 hp) and LS460 (380 hp). The whole detuned GS460 engine conversation has come up many times over on the 3rd gen GS forums, but the conclusion came down to lack of room under the smaller GS hood for the dual air box setup. Nobody's positive, but it'd be interesting to know why they chose to go with even less for the GX, especially considering its size.

I was looking into getting the 2020 headlights for my 2017 GX. I was quoted a price of about $5300 per headlight, for a total of 10,600, without installation costs.
Yeah way too much unless is mistake I can see maybe $500 just the headlight lamp. I dont mind paying $1k for the grill
And I can do the work my self.
She only has 31k miles on this truck

I might be the only one on this. I test drove a lot of vehicles in 2018 before we settled on the GX (215 Lux CPO). Seemed to me that beyond six speeds, transmissions were universally inclined to hunt gears while cruising. I saw no benefit beyond fuel economy, maybe. Although, as a GX owner, I'd hardly describe myself as miserly on fuel spending. Ha! Also, those 8 and 10 speed transmissions are remarkably complicated and we have very little ides how prone they are to breakage (except for Jatcos and the like--we know all too much about those). As to power, more is always welcome. But I feel that 301 is easily sufficient for me these days. I have no need to demonstrate my prowess with the accelerator pedal at stop lights and am easily able to exceed to speed of traffic wherever I am, entering freeways.
