Not overly specific but the Lexus pricing sheet shows 2020 MSRP being within $1K of the 2019 MSRP

So, given that the 2020 will be a "new" model will fewer discounts than the outgoing 2019, you'd probably be able to get a 2019 at a far greater discount.

I get the overall philsophy but I guess what I was thinking / wondering is will there be an incremental "discount" on the 2019 Luxury vs 2019 Premium over the next few months (ie you can get 15% off MSRP on Premium but 22% off on Luxury) as the addition of the safety features bridges the gap some.

I am thinking no. Lexus actually increased the Luxury pricing by 2.6% from last year compared to 1.2% on the base model.

I think it depends in large part on the stock at the dealership, but, in general, I doubt that the trim level makes a difference.

Probably right. Too many variables. I think we are going to roll the dice and hope we like the new 2020 grill, etc when we see it in person. If not, we will hope there are a few 2019s out there we still like. If we do like, we may wait a few months for the initial "craze" to occur and then see if we can get one for under MSRP of some amount....

Yes, you should be able to. Look at some of the older posts in this forum re: pricing. People consistently report deals 15-20% off MSRP on new year models after they've only been out a few months. December and January seem to be good months.

Good to hear! I thought that was the case. I tried to look back to older threads from about a year ago to see what people were saying but did not find anything too concrete granted I did not spent a ton of time doing it. I am wanting the 2020 Premium w/ Sport Package which I am guessing will MSRP around $59K and would like to purchase closer to $50 - $53K....

I’ve cleaned up several posts with personal comments and referencing contact details requested to be removed.
