If you look far enough under the bumper you will see this hooks off to the right. I have some aftermarket recovery points from Australia to the left in this pic.
Threw me for a loop. I read the title and thought 'Tow Hook? I don't remember ever seeing a small square on the front.' In fact, I don't know of any frame based truck that has them, I even went out to look at my bumper thinking I had missed it all this time. There's a few different versions of no drill relocaters, Mustangs use them a lot similar to how you did. Many people use large black zip ties so you don't see the hardware.
Thanks, guys
I did not know there is no front bumper tow hook in GX.
I ended up with using two zip ties to secure my license plate, not sure how long can they hold in cold weather.
The reason that I wanted to relocate my license plate is that I wanted to have something special for the central license plate bracket, such as university alumni logos and State flags. However, Ontario requires both front and rear license plate to be visible and it cannot be on the dashboard.
I took one of my special license plates and had it installed, can't say I really like it this way. It looks a bit excessive but it is already the best I can do without getting a ticket.
Just got a 2019 gx460. Got my plates and was putting them on when I noticed that the rear plate sits directly on the body panel. I’m used to seeing black foam or something similar on my previous cars to keep the plate off the body when mounting on the rear hatch.
So I’m wondering is it supposed to be like that where the license plate makes direct contact with the rear door? Or is something missing that the dealer didn’t install?
‘Would ask the dealer but the dealer is out of state.
I just moved to Colorado which now requires a front license plate. I installed the bracket, but can’t figure out how to attach the license plate. I ordered the OEM replacement bracket as my car didn’t come with one. My local dealer wants to charge me to do it, but I would prefer to do it myself. All the screws I’ve tried are too small. I would appreciate any advice.
How does the front plate holder attach to the grill? Does it require drilling or any grill damage? I leave my bumpers plate free and want to know before the car arrives at dealer.
if the holder is already attached, can it be removed without any visible damage after hand.

It is required to drill holes on grill to attach the plate holder. If already installed from dealer, remove it will have the visible drill holes.
Check my ownership thread. Have a front license plate holder that requires no drilling or permanent modification to the vehicle. Forget the name, on my cell.
ive noticed some rusting along the bottom of my barn door.
ive also noticed that my rear licenses plate panel is coming out on the right side and im assuming its letting water in and causing the rust. (if im wrong correct me, this is a rust belt vehicle. )
could i remove this panel and replace the clips/adhesive, or do i have to purchase a new panel.
