I have a 2011 GX and the third entry in the maintenance by the previous owner was removing the tow hitch.

I've added the Curt 2" which will suffice for my needs. I have two electrical connections beside the spare.

Is there an adapter to use the factory wiring harness to connect to a 4pole connection for trailer lights?

I will see if this electrical adapter is sold as a separate part. You may want to check out some of the used parts yards to see if you can obtain off a wrecked 460 as well.
