The black plastic strip by my drivers side window has cracked. No idea why but I fear water will creep in and freeze this winter making it worse. Anyone else have this occur? Should I replace it or use a syringe and squirt Super Glue in there? Advice please...

 

It's just a cosmetic trim piece... there is metal door frame structure under it. Replace it or dont, won't matter to the function of the vehicle
