Data Communication Service Campaign anyone?

Data Communication Service Campaign anyone?
Just got a call from the dealership that I purchased my 16 GX460 from. Lady told me that there was a recall for a safety communication protocol and that they needed my car for ~ 3 hours to reflash the computer. Has anyone else received this call? Can I take my car to any Lexus dealership to get this recall fixed?
Added: Did some searching and found this:
The GPS coordinates for this system may be calculated incorrectly. Lexus dealer will reprogram the data communication module (dcm) at no charge.

Check out this thread for more info, but I had it done two weeks ago. It's nothing serious or urgent.
Took me about one day.

I am not seeing any service campaigns show up on my Lexus Drivers profile but it appears this has expanded in number of vehicles affected. I need to open a case with Lexus. It would appear to now include 2010-2012 models as well.

It would appear the problem would manifest if someone lets their Safety Connect subscription lapse and then tries to reactivate without the update being applied. Program will be offered through 12/1/2022.
I wonder how long Lexus plans to support this system? I suppose as long as there is a major cell carrier providing service to the telematics transceiver in vehicle.

I have this recall done for the '17 RX350. Before the recall, the Enform app showed my vehicle location is about 3 miles away from its actual spot.
I never received the recall letter for my '15 GX, didn't see it in Lexus drivers account as well.
Does it mean my GX is not included?

It would appear that all 10-18 could be affected but only during the Enform activation process This issue is related to the GPS rollover that occurred last November.

I'm gonna open a ticket with Lexus on this one as well.

This is interesting because my 2012 is currently in the shop. Prior to taking it in, I was sleuthing around the internet and found out that there had been a Limited Service Campaign directly related to the DCM of the Safety Connect feature in our cars. I did this sleuthing shortly after subscribing to the Safety Connect feature and validating that it was working (which it wasn't) by calling the operator through the SOS feature in my car. The operator at the time confirmed they could see my subscription, but the car itself was not transmitting information. She mentioned that I would need to take the car in to get it reprogrammed at no charge. So I took it in the next day, and the SA mentioned that the DCM reprogramming and the Limited Service Campaign only applied to newer models. I personally have an Extended Warranty for 5 years and/or 60k miles whichever comes first. Anyway the SA was insistent that in order to look at the car they would charge me a Diag fee of 179.99 and then that price would go towards the repair cost. All of this will be covered by the warranty. So I get a call today, and it turns out the DCM module is in fact bad or needs to be replaced, not reprogrammed, and this work will be covered under my Extended Warranty. After reading through the pdf from @Acrad I am seeing my car a 2012 ES 350 with 41k miles on it, that has an active Safety Connect subscription, should in theory be covered by this Campaign, as it has not expired yet. So I'm confused as to why I'm being charged at all for this effort?
Is it because they have to replace the module in my car vs reprogramming it in the later models? How can I poke at Lexus to see if they are doing the right thing, and not just trying to make a quick buck... I dont want anyone to work for free, but if its covered by a Campaign, shouldn't be it covered and not a fast one being pulled?
The silver lining is Lexus did put me in a loaner 2020 RX350 which is nice as hell and I get to keep it over the weekend lol.
