So you got this for $49,000 (+ $300 fee + tax + tags) ? If so, that's nearly $9K off and I think is a great deal.

Congratulations on the new GX.

I thought it was a good deal and easy transaction... we did go back and forth on email/text, but not much... on top of it, it was in the color combination I wanted which weren’t that many around me - blue mica with black interior... thanks

That seems like a pretty good deal given the time of year and the "update".

I got mine last year in July for just under 10k off. With similar equipment/options.

I think the trick is to find a large volume dealer and it's much easier to get a decent price. My local dealer wouldn't budge and kept playing games (you gotta come in, etc.)

I assume that was the destination charge from the vehicle build sheet Lexus provides on every vehicle.

If its a line item on a sales contract adding said processing fee after the MSRP then its dealer addon.

Its a great deal compared to where I live. The problem here is one Lexus dealer. No competition, and they make the most of it.

^^^ But so many choices available with the internet. Guess they feed on locals that don’t reach out...

Always go outside if your locals being tough.

The GX is no Supra, dealerships know that, so the smart dealerships move their pricing in line.

As the other poster mentioned, it’s Destination Charge... seems like every dealer I discussed they’ve this charge so I don’t think this’s add-on from the dealer.

I agree, when I was looking for mine I was willing to drive few hours if needed but only after the deal is made thru online/text and in writing... luckily I’m in DC Metro area so we’ve about 8 Lexus dealership within an hour drive.

Default $9000 off MSRP

I bought a 2020 Premium Sport design package for $51276. MSRP was $60970 December to remember is the best time to purchase. They want to have first quarter sales number high so dealers are willing to let cars go for no profit at all. I choose to finance with them at 4.9 APR but ended up using my credit union at 2.49%

Congrats on price! The APRs have slightly risen since Dec, so you got a great deal all around.
