How many of you bought a 2020 but came from the same Gen2? Does it feel any different? Is it quieter, ride better, feels more solid, etc?

This seems to be the primary 2020 purchase thread so will keep it up top as a sticky for the current model year and will move back down as 2021s come on the scene.

Havent confirmed the availability but seems like purchases are gonna be better as predicated end of Q1.

Lexus Cash on buys without LFS is up to 2500
LFS APRs down to 0.9
cannot combine both

Lease Cash is a paltry 1250 though. Still should be able to get 499 and up deals on this one.

I’m looking at purchasing my first GX. I reached out to a dealer in Atlanta, Ga requesting information. The Sales Manager responded via e-mail stating “we try to eliminate all negotiating obstacles and always put our best foot forward.”.

The MSRP is $58,865 and the price I have been offered is $49,365. That’s $9,500 off MSRP, roughly 16%.. This is with zero negotiations.

Seems like a good deal to me. Thoughts?

Yup the highest anyone should be paying on these is invoice minus 2500. At 16% your doing much better then even Decemeber to Remember.

Side thought though, if dealers are willing to go below invoice and lexus cash, what truly is the floor on these things... is the 2018 77% off nearby as the quarter ends?

I am looking to buy my first Lexus soon. I too, am coming over from a Toyota 4Runner.

What number should I be looking for on a 2020 Premium? The thing that makes it tough is Northtown is the only Lexus dealer in WNY (Buffalo, NY). The next closest is Dorschel in Rochester.

I did find Lexus of Lehigh Valley (Allentown, PA) that has all their pricing on their website. Looks like they are willing to do about $5200 off MSRP + any Lexus Rebates. That would put me around $7700 off MSRP and they will deliver to my door in Buffalo at no cost to me.

With an MSRP of 58,000, that is around 13% off MSRP.

Should I be shooting for 10-13% off up front, and then add in Lexus cash? Or should the total amount off include dealer discounts + Lexus rebates?

Thanks in Advance.

Bryan, have you matched the Leigh Valley offer with Northtown?

The way you translate their deals is a whole different ball game:

Typically the highest you should pay is Invoice of your particular build-lexus cash.

The deals that are possible are below invoice further reduced by the lexus cash. This means the GX has some sort of mfg to dealer cash that they arent disclosing.

Having said that:

The going rate on a purchase without using Lexus Financial Services (cash or outside financing) is 16% total as per poster above you (absolutely possible in NY being in the market currently).

Well, I just got home with my new GX. I got the exact deal I mentioned earlier; 16% off MSRP. I had to drive 120 miles to Atlanta to get it, but totally worth dealing with the rush hour traffic on the way home. It gave me time to “play with buttons” while sitting at a standstill on I-75

They also gave me a strong trade in value of $33K for my 2017 Tundra. If you want to check them out to at least get a local dealer to price match, contact Nalley Lexus of Roswell.
