Any new thoughts on a Premium Sport Package stickered around $60k? I'd be willing to drive to save. It seems there are very few with the sport package.

Is rare, out of the 2 months I was looking, I only saw an handful of them.

Mine was the only one out of the the 30 dealer had, it was black with red interior, captains chair and sport package.

Price around the sports against each other and see what gives.

My deal should be posted further up, but I got sport package with sticker 60,565 for 51,750 before TTL.

That was near the end of April.

So you negotiated the discount and then subtracted the Lexus cash? They're offering $4,000 currently. It seems most of them just subtract the $4,000 and call it "the price" as if it's their discount 🙄

I would tell them, to look at a couple dealers who are openly advertising invoice-the lexus cash as their sell price. In addition, lease brokers, are doing 10% before any incentives applied; mind you dealers have traditionally voiced "brokers are just middlemen who add another expense".

Price breakdown as follows:

MSRP: $58,650
Window Tint/Door Guards: $399
Rebates/Discounts: $9,859
Sales Price Sub-total: $49,190
IMF: $500
Tag and Title Fees: $85
Dealer Closing Fee: $225
Balance Forward: $50,000

The window tint and door guards are obvious fluff but I was playing to the bottom line, OTD price so didn't care.

Yeah, their website had a form to fill out with “your” price, then also add any additional incentives. Lease cash was $1,250 and returning lessees was $1,000. My offer was $54,000. They didn’t balk at all. Essentially accepted my offer on Sunday and delivered the car on Tuesday. Easiest car buying experience, ever.

I was looking at some numbers in an email I received recently:

GX
Lexus Cash
$2500->4000
Lexus Vehicle Special Purchase Program(for businesses that work with lexus)
$5500->$6500

0%/60

Usually if you follow the terms of the VSPP the way they work is that any dealer presented with verified documents takes invoice-VSPP cash
Even stranger that Lexus is moving the incentive bar to that small demographic

If you work with them you can essentially get a GX for about 79% of MSRP.
Base->43K
Prem->45-46k
Lux->55-56

Can you explain how to do this? Best I see is a $60k sticker for $51,000 out the door without taxes.

Keep in mind my deal was a lease, so if Lexus is now doing $4,000 cash, you could get an even better deal now. Keep in mind inventory is crap right now.

Do you work for a company that is associated with TMC in any way?

Once you find that information out, you should be able to obtain the necessary VSPP documents to get the process started. They provide a certificate that will literally spell out the terms of the sale (usually invoice- VSPP cash).

Any recent data points on GX with premium package, captain's chairs and tow hitch in mid atlantic area (PA,MD, NJ,DE,VA). They seem to be in a shorter supply.
Is there any downside to getting aftermarket tow hitch installed?
What would be a reasonable discount on a unit with the above options with around 1800 miles- but being sold as new?

Yes and no, mine came with captains chair, and sport package but no tow.

you can get one installed at uhaul or buy one from amazon.

one dealer had an few used one with less than 300 miles on it and they were doing 7.5k off and 0%.
