My friend is looking at the 2020 GX. This will be a nice data point to take forward for negotiating. Thank you! Did you get this deal at a local NC dealer ?

Thank you for posting your final numbers. Looks like dealer actually charged you $695 and $300 fees to make up some, but it's still a great deal for a 2020 nonetheless. Congratulations!

in CA they charge $900 Transport fee + DOC fee too.

Still a great price the OP got there.

In WA, there is no state income tax

I would be happy to pay 5K for sales taxes on car but not pay state income tax

Or worse, both.

Having moved from Michigan to Oregon to Washington, both, income only, sales only, I definitely prefer sales tax only, but at 10.3% where I live it's getting pretty painful, and is the primary reason we drive our cars for 10-15 years.

wtf is "smart shield" ... sounds more like 14" stick. sounds like the MSRP discount really what it seems like. always reject all shields all options all "protections" all stick ons add ons doo dads crawdads. always say no to all.

at best, get gap insurance. that's it.

i always say... "just the car please"

Solid deal. Not as good of a deal as a 2019, but this is definitely solid and worth considering if you like the new grill.

No nonsense, and they gave a fair discount considering the 0% Lexus is offering right now. The espresso bar and putting green make service visits nice too!

I think I will use them for service. I got mine from South County Lexus for 20% off msrp (I took the 3 K rebate instead of the lexus financing) 3 months ago but did have to shut down their finance dept from trying to put add ons in the deal which was a bit annoying. I've heard good things about the newport dealer and will probably use them for all servicing. It's right down the street from me anyway (HB). They're going to be a bit shocked by how much I've already modified the vehicle when I take it in for first service .
