I have the suction cup type right now and i'm not a fan of it since I can't roll the windows down. I only use it on one side of the car for the kid.

can you roll the window down without affecting the shade?

Yes, you are able to as it’s magnetically attached to the entire metal door frame and wedged in by the door (there are also adhesive clips that you can install on the bottom to keep it in better, but I didn’t install them). I have not tried opening it at highway speeds though however to see if it holds up.

ah thanks! that's really helpful information. I don't want to put the window down at highway speeds but just sometimes I put the windows down inside the garage to air it out. I also don't want to put the adhesive clips like you.

No problem, I really like it so far, shades the kid way better than the static cling/ suction cup or clip on ones that does not cover the entire window.

The fit could be a little better, but for $50, it works as intended and stays on, so can’t complain. Just wish our car comes with a built-in option when even a Toyota Highlander has one.

It says "2PCS Rear Side Window + 2 Triangular Window".
Does that mean 2nd row windows + 3rd row windows or just two pieces for the 2nd row windows?
If the answer is the first one, do the 2nd row window shades cover both pieces of glass?
Asking because the pics they have on Amazon are not for a GX.

I just got an email (via Amazon) from the seller, that item is no longer available anymore.

Looks oem, hope it's worth the $230 price tag. Just in time for summer.

At this price point you should try Snapshades.. they've long been selling this in australia and now have stock in US.

Just a disclaimer - i have not tried their product.. just found them highly rated when i was searching for shades 6 months back. Due to the high price I went with a knockoff version from China on Amazon and it's good or great enough for my purpose (which seems like is no longer seen on Amazon). Strange that snapshades return policy is so bad - even if their parcel is lost in transit, they don't credit back shipping fees. I think PayPal or credit card will cover that gap in dispute.

Thanks, just ordered them. I like that it is just the rear side windows and the hatch & the hatch is one piece. My GX rear is not tinted darer than factory. My wife’s is tinted over the factory and you can’t see the cargo area. Mine you can.
