I've got a 2015 GX460 Premium . . . bought it used in August 2018 and everything was perfect, but since like January 2019, the suspension has been really stiff, giving a very uncomfortable ride. I feel every bump and hole in the roads.
Have tried every combination of the comfort - sport switch, no luck; Had it checked out twice with diagnostic equipment . . . no fault found.
What can I do to get this car comfortable again?
Have you added any equipment to the back of the car like a tow hitch? I would measure at the center of the wheel on both sides from the ground to the top of the wheel arch and see if it’s like 35.5 inches. I had a friend who exhibited the same thing you said and it turns out the air suspension dropped an inch when the tow hitch was installed at the dealership shortly after delivery.

Wait.....
2015 premium does NOT have air suspension so you can't really change the modes. Are you pulling our legs?
Are you able to see the rear end of GX go up and down a few inches when you adjust suspension height?
Outside the vehicle can you hear the compressor when it is lifting the rear from low?
Any oil showing up on the shocks?
Do you know what diagnostic tool or software was used to troubleshoot? General OBD reader wouldn't pick up issues here.
Can you post pictures of the rear axle on both sides take from the rear and underneath showing the relation of the bump stop to the axle and also include air bags in the pictures?

Thanks for these helpful questions . . .
i. Yes, I am able to see the rear end of X go up and down when I adjust the suspension height
ii. Yes, I can hear the compressor humming as it does its job
iii. No, I can see no on the shocks
iv. No, I do not know the diagnostic tool or software used. It is these type of closed garages where you submit you car out front and it goes in the back for repairs, no access to the owners to get to the back
V. I will post some pictures . . .
RAHC - High/Normal mode - Different market speed differences
I noticed something while looking at some Prado documentation and the Eurasian 460 FSM that high mode can be run up to 31 MPH versus 18 MPH for North American spec GX 460s. Module is almost $1K new so not interested in undertaking this potential mod myself.
[Prado]
[North American GX 460]
[Eurasian GX 460] - This could include GCC states as well / Take from Eurasian FSM
I wonder if this just dependent on what Suspension Control ECU revision is installed like a MTS module swap?
