I have to admit, the design does look clean and tastefully done ... but given it serves no functional purpose, I personally would not go there ... the same reason why I would not buy so many of the "Transformers" designed vehicles these days ... too many conflicting and unnecessary lines everywhere that serve absolutely no purpose.

Give me something that will keep road dust off of the rear GX...This thing is a magnet for dust, I come home after a car wash to do some detailing and the rear is dusty after a three mile trip home

Agree ... interesting how the GX470 did not have even close to this level of build-up problem ... but maybe makes sense given the GX470 spoiler seemed to direct an air stream down over the back window.

I think this could possibly help with diverting the airflow from the bottom up and help with dust on the back window.
