Congratulation on the mats. The weather tech mats extend along the edges and are more protective. I cleaned my GX on Saturday and the plastic edges and the carpet was in great condition.

I have a set of Premium clear mats from ExactMats.com for gx460. There were used for roughly 6 months and are in a perfect shape. It is a 4-piece set. If anyone is interested in them, please let me know

I know this is an old thread but I was wondering if anyone had both the OEM and Weathertech mats and if so, how they compare and which one they like better. The old OEM mats were great but when they went to the newer style I thought they were too thin.

Also, on my GX the dead pedal was all plastic and based on the pics, the 2010+ GX's dead pedal is carpeted like my LS. I was wondering if the Weathertech mat covers the dead pedal like in my LS (the picture on the Weathertec site shows the old GX model for their standard mat even when you select 2011 so you can't tell).

I have the weather tech mats and they only cover the very bottom of the dead pedal. From the pictures, my weather tech mats look better than the factory mats.

i have the huskys and it covers a lot more than the lexus mats. you could spill half a gallon of water on them and it would be contained on the mat!

I just ordered the cargo mat from sewell lexus. (thanks for the quick shipment!) on the right side, it doesn't cover the carpeted area - it only covers the left side. there are holes on the either side for the straps but it doesn't reach the right side.

Can you take a picture? I've been debating whether to order it. I have a factory carpet mat and it is not symmetric.

I haven't taken a pic yet but I heard back from Sewell. The cargo mat picture that is found on their website is the exact cargo mat that was sent yesterday. The mat does not reach the right side completely because Base Models do not have an A/C unit. The cargo mat was designed for 2010/2011 GX's with the Premium model in mind so I have a little spot where it's not covered by the rubber mat. Kind of crappy but at the same time i don't mind having the tiny extra bit of cargo space.
