I have a 2012 GX, put a 2" Dobinson lift, front and rear bumpers, 17" rim with 33" E rated tires...so lots of weight but haven't put the beast on scale yet. It drives great in town and on freeway (I live in Denver). Gong up some grades, it does fine... but I wonder how it would do while towing a TT. Any experience? Re-gearing help (and just add a locker at same time?), pedal commander?

Have you thought about putting in a AT cooler (OEM or 3rd party)? As well as some of those 3rd party air-bags that fit inside the coil for load leveling?

Definitely going with AT cooler if we get a TT..but going up some of the grades here I am not sure how much I would want to tow currently. On flat lands or no altitude, I think it will tow fine. I am wondering if anyone has similar set up going up the I70 grades as it might make even getting a TT not worth it (and maybe how heavy a trailer they are towing).

IMO... if you do tow also get yourself setup to monitor AT temps.

You can monitor when in TC lockup and also keep AT temps further down.
