Yeah the rear seats in the GX are cramped by comparison, but not a big deal unless you have kids. Also fuel mileage probably much lower than the newer F150s, not sure about your 2016. But again not a big deal.

Congrats on the new GX! They are great vehicles.
If I didn’t like the GX i would have just bought another F150 and an extended warranty. The back seat is a little tighter for my kids compared to the truck, but they’ll live. After driving it for a week, I’ve really enjoyed the size and drivability compared to the truck. It just drives so much smaller, which is really nice for my commute and parking situations. So far the tech hasn’t bothered me at all. It does everything I need it to. The only thing I’m not a big fan of right now are the tires. I might be ordering some 265/65/18 this week. I just haven’t decided which ones yet. I’m leaning towards the new Pirelli all terrain.

Not sure which engine you had in your F150, but we had the 3.5L EB. I drove the F150 up on Saturday and the new GX home from Plano on Sunday and I was a little disappointed in the way it downshifts on the hills. It had to hit 5th gear on slight hills and 4th gear on moderate hills. The F150 would just torque it out and not down shift except for the steepest grades. Considering the GX has a V8 vs a V6 and it weighs ±1000lbs less, I was a little surprised.

Oh well, it's the wife's new car and she's very happy with it. I'll just stick to my F250 Powerstroke Diesel.

The Pedal Commander can help with shifting issues.

I had the V8 and it downshifted to 4th or 5th all the time. In the wind, up hills, moderate acceleration. I was usually going 75+ on the highway so that might have had a little to do with it. 395hp vs 301 in the GX so I wasn’t expecting a real powerhouse. I had the 3.5ecoboost before the V8 and it was never smooth. Plenty of power and fast, but it was always jumpy and jerky.
I wish I had a need for an F250. My favorite looking truck on the market right now.

Amen! It's not going to kill Lexus to start shrinking the signature spindle grill for a better approach angle.

The same people who complain about lack of tech want analog clocks? I don't get it. IMO the center analog clock is getting to be a very tired cliché.

BUT, the GX will run trouble free for 250k+ miles.
a thousand times better. o-n-e t-h-o-u-s-a-n-d

I personally like the touch of class an analogue clock offers. It's a small, subtle detail, but I feel it adds a lot to the aesthetics of a luxury vehicle. It doesn't have to conflict with technology.

Traded in my ‘16 Ram Rebel with Hemi
absolutely loved it and wouldn’t have traded it but a 2500 mile road trip that nearly killed my back told me the Rebel needed to go.
I miss the intense power, the air suspension, the silky smooth 8sp ZF transmission and the fantastic 8.4 uconnect
It got terrible gas mileage all the time but it was a helluva lot of fun.
But i never used it as a truck and realized i just needed to get something more comfortable. I narrowed it down to 4Runner Limited (love the rear down window), Sequoia Platinum (love the rear down window and rear seat entertainment for the kids), LX570 (love all the suspension switches) and GX460

After many test drives and lots of research (and great price) i ended up with the GX. 3000 miles, more comfortable and better gas mileage with 87 octane (18mpg)

Have you taken a long trip in the GX? You might not want to click on the following links Don't want to get this into your head
