Arrow Looking for new tires: 2015 GX

Moving from south Florida up to Northern Virginia soon. I've noticed that my current tires are starting to look a little worn and may need some replacing here very shortly - would like to get it done before the move.

I'm not necessarily looking solely for winter tires, but if anyone had a recommendation for any All-Season tires that they use (or have heard of having great reliability) I'd appreciate it.

Defender LTX 265.65.18 for street driving. 22k miles later and still looks like new.

Unless you are looking for a more gnarly look ... Michelin Defender LTX are excellent ... easily last 60,000 miles.

Wildpeak AT with 20k miles and still look new. Noise is a bit louder than stock Lattitude but ride nice. Wet traction is excellent and bite well on dirt roads.

I just did a little research on the Tirerack site. I will probably go with the Pirellis as we are do soon also. They gave it a great review and include a comparison test of the tire.

+1 on the Michelin Defender LTX MS. Great tire with nice ride and very low noise. I'd definitely purchase them again. If my memory is correct, they have a 70,000 mile tread warranty AND NTB was having a sale - buy two/get two free (but you had to purchase an alignment, etc).

I run Nokians on ours but we needed a tire that was good in snow. They do awesome all around. Defenders where fine but sucked in the snow. I would vote for contis if looking for a good all season. I've always loved my other vehicles with continentals on them.

I think Smokey meant Nokian winter tire but all season also seems to be available: https://simpletire.com/nokian-265-60r18-t430399-tires

After reading way too many reviews I just had these put on last weekend.
500 mile report coming up in about a week. So far very pleased with noise at 70, and definitely prefer the more aggressive look.

Came from Defender LTX which I had very good luck with.
Just wanted more of an AT this time.

Thanks for the update. Would you say these are louder than the Defenders? Can you comment on the ride too? Thanks.

I Recently Purchased the Bridgestone H/L Alenza Plus 265/65/18 they come with 80K warranty. This is there most premium set and competes with the LTX. There is no road noise and handles well. Also what tires do you currently have?

They may be a tad louder, but it's not much. My wife even commented that she didn't really notice a difference on the highway.
Ride may be a small bit better with the Michelin's, but again for an AT tire I'll take what small compromises they seem to have.
