No rub? Any BMC? Your Dobinson 2” lift is HD or comfort valving? What’s your wheel offset? 0?
These did have rub and the installer did a bit of trimming and bending of the inside liner. 2" comfort valving and the wheels are 17x8.5” +6.9mm. These wheels are a special edition GXOR wheel released in small numbers. Edit: Adding BMC due to rub still occurring sometimes.
Looks like every other So Cal 'overland' build that never sees a dirt road ....
haha. Its all good. This is mostly used for snowboarding trips to the mountains of Mammoth, Tahoe, Utah, Colorado and quite a bit of camping trips, I snowboard across the western states 100+ days a year as I no longer have to work. Building her mostly for that purpose. Oh and also to look really cool while I'm at the mall . Definitely won't be rock climbing with it. That's why I got a comfort suspension with great tires for the snow and ice. Grew up in Alaska where I had a land cruiser but didn't have the funds at the time to build it like I wanted. Thanks for the comment .
To clarify, are you paying shops to do this work for you or are you doing it yourself?
I'm asking because I'd like to know how the side skirts were measured and cut to fit so tidily with the sliders. If you did them, then you could tell us how you measured and cut them. Additionally, I (and surely others here) would like to see how the front bumper cover will be cut to fit the CBI Covert Bumper. If you do the bumper install yourself (and not paying a shop to do it for you), please post a thread of the process as I (and surely others here) would like to see how it's installed.
Thanks
