Default 2020 Heated Steering Wheel

In our 2020 GX, the heated steering wheel is barely lukewarm. Wanted to see if that's normal, if something is wrong with it. In my GS it gets really nice and warm, and our Sienna got really nice and warm too.

thx

Hmmm maybe they changed it? My 2010 is borderline hot.

Same, although it does take about seven minutes to reach that warmth.

Mine feels like the colder outside, the warmer it gets but I know how you feel because it's bare warm most of the time. But some point it's pretty warm.

Not to hijack the thread, but I've noticed that the heated seats in my '16 GX don't even come close to the heat that my wife's '15 Honda Civic Hybrid seats can put out.
Also the cooled seat function in my GX doesn't compare to the seat cooling that my company vehicle '15 Chevy Suburban can provide. Forget cool, those things get downright cold!
I'd still take my GX a million times over either of those two other vehicles though

Sorry, cant speak on the steering wheel as that's one of the few options I'm without. Not surprising since it was originally a San Diego car.

My 2014 one heats up pretty quick and is boardline hot as well. I usually turn it off in few minutes because it’s getting a little hot for my comfort.

Same here...I sometimes wish I have the auto button feature that heats up quickly then stay warm after couple of minutes like other cars.

That’s the part that I like very much with my LX, it auto heats the seats and steering wheel based on temp setting and outside temp. The feature Lexus named as: Concierge.

On mine.. hot steering wheel I often have turn off, seats get too hot I have to turn down... not really complaining :-)

ventilated seats work ok...

I think of the three the ventilated seats on mine could use a little more cooled airflow but for the most part work fine for use in my location

If the 2020 heated steering wheel is actually cooler than previous years I wonder if the high heat was causing damage to the wheel. Don’t recall anyone mentioning this, just a thought as to why they would change it to a lower temperature.

I see...I also noticed the new RX is also equipped with this feature...whereas more expensive 2020 GX does not lol

The first vehicle I had with a heated steering wheel was a 2002 Nissan Maxima GLE I had purchased new. Missed it after I purchased my G35x.

I've noticed the seat cooling in my 2017 Luxury is a bit on the weak side too. It's fine until someone's sitting in the seats, at which point it's like there's zero airflow. Anyone else experience this?

Can't really comment on the steering, unfortunately. Middle Eastern models lack it, presumably because of the generally hot weather.
