So the parts finally came in but they want less then a 1/4 tank, will take me a week to get that low since I just filled up, and everything cleared from the 2nd and 3rd row. They got ordered around July 2nd and I got the call yesterday.

That’s not true. GX fuel bump was located on top of the tank, for this recall, it did not require to drain the tank. As long as not in full, like someone suggested a half tank just as a safety precaution is all needed. Some of other models under recall, such as LS, will require a fairly empty tank as the pump is located at bottom of the tank.

Glad you've got it resolved, sucks that it had to happen in the middle of the road trip. Nice looking GX, my favorite color
I've had my fuel pump replaced recently at a dealership, but I may be having similar issue as you've had. My car started to stall when I was driving at highway speeds and rpm dropped to 500 couple times, luckily didn't completely stall on me and engine kicked back in (had to release the accelerator pedal and tried to accelerate again to keep up the rpms), All went back to kind of normal, rpm still acting up, but not as bad as originally. The next day or two same thing happened again, and on the way back home check engine light came on. Now it's really hard to start the engine after being parked, and have to crack in couple times to start, or sometimes it doesn't even start at all. Now need to figure out what's happening, got P0171 and P0174 codes, which seems to indicate that not enough fuel is getting into the banks or maybe too much oxygen is there... one of the reasons is being a bad fuel pump If anyone has any other thoughts or ideas, please chime in.
P.S. At first, i thought maybe the battery was dead, because car was hard to start, so recharged the battery but that didn't help.
