Default Traded GX for CM

My 19 GX Premium) was a good SUV but I need a truck - traded it off for a 2020 CrewMax today. Rides good, more back seat room and more power. I was surprised the CM has push button starting now

Nice!! does the 5.7L engine put the GX to shame? How did you do with the $$$ if you don't mind me asking.

I assume your Tundra has CarPlay and Android Auto as well?

it has all that - but I listen to XM mostly and I was able to transfer the plan on my GX to the Tundra after the 3 free months.

GX's hold their value, was hoping to get $43K-45K on the trade but only got $41K after haggling. The CM is a but of an interior downgrade with cloth seats but I prefer them over leather especially with a dog in the back. Way more room in the 2nd row than the GX. Was going to get a Limited but ended up with a SR5 with the TRD Off Road package. The 38 gallon fuel tank will be a wallet drainer but at least it regular gas. Computer says I'm averaging 16-.17mpg in mixed driving, the 5.7 does not disappoint, but also may be transmission gearing too

Lots of info on this board but I'm out

Scott

Tundra is a solid truck. You'll love it for what it is... great forums ad following for it too... I've been eyeing a double cab long bed as my ride... kinda waiting to see when the revamp it... given the CAS last week, looks like not 2021 but 2022.

I have a 2018 CM Platinum that goes well with the wife's 2018 GX Lux. The Tundra is a good choice if you plan to keep it for a while. I just wish they stayed competitive with the features. Keeping it in the Toyota family!
