I have a 2014 GX which is my second GX. Both have been great. I am now at 255k miles and electrical system is glitching. Most often this occurs when I am driving and touch the brake and the entire electrical system dies for about 1-2 seconds then everything all comes back. Has blinked when flipping on high beams and turn signal as well but not as common as touching brake. No fault codes in the system. Some days glitch may happen a dozen times, others 1-2 times. Anyone seen anything same or similar?

Power loads that you mention causing this would be related to the battery or the alternator.
Just my guess....

I think regardless of altenator/regulator function, the electric system runs off the battery. So intermittent supply failures are likely the result of bad/intermittent battery terminal or ground connecitons. I'd start there.

unfortunately its not a very easy swap, i opted to have the dealer do it due to time constraints. Cost about 2k including 1100 for the alternator. You can do it much cheaper if you do it yourself or even an independent shop.

i had this exact issue. Bad alternator in my case. The telltale for me was the voltage reading on my radar detector was erratic when this was occurring. Like the regulator wasn’t regulating.

My first was a '04 GX470. Traded that one with 387k. Great vehicle that outlasted my interest. Went to a BMW X5 i50 but that car couldn't hold up to 50k miles a year.
