When I look at manheim, I see most GX listed are in Northeast area and rarely anything from the West, CA, AZ, WA etc... anyone knows why? Is the market for Western/Southern cars in more demand than than NE.

Super clean GX and from WI! No I did not buy it. I am looking for a one with Driver Support Pack mostly because of radar cruise control and pre-collision system.

I was considering this one. Don't want to spend over $40k now that I have come to my senses.

BTW. i am in texas and have bought a car from TEXASDIRECTAUTO. they were amazing.
they own VROOM which is like carvana. which will ship the car to your door.

texasdirect. ha ha. their showroom in houston.. if u walk in and say u wanna test drive a car.. its like a 1-2 hour wait..

funy thing is Texas direct buys from manheim lol i have seen ...a car sold in manheim MMR record and a week later same VIN. on texasdirect and vroom
i observed that their markup is rising.now so basically its 3-4K more than what they paid at auction and they have to pay a auction fee 3-400 i guess and then transport it to their houston location and then sell.it


if u get a manheim off lease. low miles with remaining factory warranty and CR > 4.5 basically u r doing what texasdirect does.. ha ha
.they buy it onlne and dont have time to inspect.. and turn it around As fast as possible...

Hey Guys and Gals, I think I'm going to purchase a 2014 Lexus GX that has pretty low miles(36k).
What I wanted to ask the group is what should I be looking at on this vehicle for potential wear or problem areas.

I have this car in my garage right now till Monday. I feel I will be taking it to a mechanic early Monday morning just to be safe. But you guys would know better than anyone else on any issues with the 2nd gen GX. So far it rides nice and yes it has the hissing brake peddle(first thing I noticed), there are a couple of chips on the hood and some minor lower front bumper damage(small crack in bottom 2in).

This is the luxury model with all the fancy hill accent and decent controls, rise and lower, heated steering wheel and I think just about every option available.

Let me know what I should be looking at?

maybe not something you can check in the garage, but if the airbag recall has been or needs to be done.
some have a lean i think only if you have kdss.
some have a vibration around 60mph?

Oh yeah, it has almost an inch lean to the passenger side, both front and rear.

I will have to test the vibration tomorrow, thanks!
