Do you have access to Carfax or something to check for the history of the vehicles? Perhaps having a good mechanic to check it out. This GX is RARE.

yeah, it’s top of the line plus some more. Dual screens system for 2nd row. Black rims…. I think this one has it all.
will look at carfax when I get there (if avail. ) check and test drive it. I’m very familiar with it as I still have the 470

It’s 58k mi. In and out checked good. No fluids leaking…..
carfax show 1 accident (rear driver side, no airbag deployed) now look like nothing happened
Its still at the auction site. He wants $35k out the door. I haven’t give him another offer just yet. $34k OTD still a great deal?

Bob58, those 3 luxury from carmax they have ML system but non of them have side cam, front cam, cam on steering wheel facing you.... but they listed as luxury?

Those options are part of the Driver Support Package which are an option to the 14-19 Luxury trim

I'm trying to post the 2017 GX maintenance schedule but the site won't let me attach the pdf so here is a screen shot of the 60K



I'd replace the fob key, engine and cabin air filters myself in less than 5 minutes combined without tools or getting dirty and let a Toyota dealer do the rest, I'd guesstimate < $300 assuming you're just doing the required maintenance. I'm sure some would recommend doing the off-roading or towing services since you are a new owner to it and have no idea what has or hasn't been done. obviously those items will cost more.

And early congratulations. If that vehicle does not have significant existing issues you have scored an amazing (almost too good to be true) deal on a fantastic truck.

FWIW to anyone, I just picked up a 2015 GX460 Luxury with 67k miles, tow package, driver support package for $35000. Isn't a CPO, but was for the previous owner. The reason I chose this one, is because when I added the VIN to Lexus drivers, service history was solid, and the previous owner added the tow package for $1200.

Just got it last night. Luxury and fully loaded 2016 with 58k mi. for $28-$29k or $31.5k out the door will take some pics later.
What a nice score I know 😀

The good
-$10k under market
-2 year old Good Year tires. Plenty of treads left
-Front brakes have lot of meat left

The bad
-missing 4 lug nuts, 1 each wheel
-missing 2nd row left and right headrests
-coolant res. almost empty
-nasty air filter and cabin filter, engine oil kinda dark

The ugly
I don't know if it's normal or not, but tried crawl control and it makes some stupid sounds and noises. Uploaded in youtube. Will try to put it here but don't know how yet

Ordered filters and coolant and lug nuts from dealer. Some engine oil and changed everything last night. Should be all set for now

- Top off coolant reservoir and monitor. It could just be evaporative bleed over the years if never serviced or even a simple radiator cap seal. We can go down troubleshooting paths if that starts quickly disappearing later. I'd make sure radiator itself is topped off as well.

- Crawl control is noisy by design... others call it one thing... I call it small arms fire.. IMO: If you have never heard it before you will think something is wrong.

Fully loaded rig but for US market you can still add MTS which didn't become an option here until 2020.

Coolant is good now. Topped off radiator and res. Drove couple of hours and still at full. Will definitely keep an eye on it
