Are there any restrictions on changing the suspension between comfort and sport? Such as speed.

Greysmoke thanks for the Jeep feedback. I went 06 LJ with a 6” long arm to 12 JKU with 4.5” both were on 37s. Currently have the car seat in the middle because it doesn’t fit behind a seat unless the seat is so far forward I can’t see out the passenger window. Total pain to get him in and out especially considering he has been in the 99 percentile since birth. Since I am not taking off road much for the foreseeable future I can’t see paying all the extra maintenance. Not to mention my son hardly wakes up every time we hit a bump driving down the highway.

No restrictions on changing the suspension dampener settings.

The rear air bags have three positions.

http://www.lexudrive.com/lexsu-156.html

When the height control OFF switch is pressed with the vehicle stopped, the vehicle height is fixed at the current height.

This status is memorized in the sys- tem even after the engine is stopped.

The height can be adjusted by pressing the height control OFF switch again.

When vehicle speed exceeds 18 mph (30 km/h), the rear height control air suspension turns on automatically.

When HI mode is selected

The vehicle height will change to N mode when driving at the speeds of 18 mph (30 km/h).

Even if vehicle speed is then reduced to under 18 mph (30 km/h), height will not return to HI mode.

When LO mode is selected

The vehicle height will change to N mode when vehicle speed exceeds 7 mph (12 km/h).

Even if vehicle speed is then reduced to under 7 mph (12 km/h), height will not return to LO mode.

Automatic leveling function

Regardless of the number of occupants and the luggage load, vehicle height in any mode is always adjusted to a fixed height by the automatic leveling function.

Default Market for 2018 GX460/Silver with Black interior, Luxury with Driver Support Package

Hi,

I'm looking for the below configuration with great discount. I'm in DFW area in Texas but willing to pick it up out of States if the price is good. But I have 2016 MDX to trade in so preferably close to DFW area as it needs to be physically appraised for trade-in? (If they can deal online w/ pictures, great though)

2018 GX460
Exterior: Silver
Interior: Black
Trim: Luxury
Option: Driver Support Package
MSRP: $68,865, Inv: $63,436

Lastly, what would be the actual price level people are paying for Luxury trim for 2018? Hoping to go below invoice price with $3K cash back offer this month.
I bumped into this website, https://www.autocheatsheet.com/ Seems to be good source for negotiation prep. Based on this, Net Cost for the above configuration at a dealer should be: Invoice price - Holdback(2%) - current incentive ($3K cash back). Turned out to be $59,059. Plus, profit margin for dealer + destination charge + documentation.

If you could let me know if you know a good dealer and/or sales person who might be able to give me a great deal, very much appreciated!

Thank you in advance for your support!

Well it's too late now but I think you overpaid. You could probably get a 2018 for similar price or a few thousands more.

Just enjoy the truck. It's a great one and will last for years.

Btw, welcome to CL

Does it also have the Driver Support Package (IE:Radar Cruise, etc)? 38K-39K for a '14 Luxury CPO w/o Driver Support is a good deal for Seattle area Lexus dealers. If it wasn't CPO asking price would be around that number. I wouldn't consider it a ripoff.

I just went through the buying experience of a GX as well. These darn trucks really hold their value. For CA, that's about the going rate for the Luxury, so I would say no, you did not get ripped off. You may have been able to do $1-2k better.. As others have said, there's no going back so just enjoy your awesome new truck!

I was trying to get them down but wouldn't budge and didn't want to run the risk of someone else buying the car.. CPO Luxury ones are hard to find around my area. Especially in that price range. Over all happy with my purchase!

Default 2014 GX Luxury 90k miles for $32k... What do you tink

I've been looking to get a GX. I've been looking to get one for under 30k but I've come to the realization that I won't find one at that price (right now). I saw one for 32k but with 90k miles on it. It's a GX Luxury. What do you all think? Jump on it or wait for one for 2k-3k more with 1/2 the miles??

Are you absolutely attached to the updated front end? The 2010-2013 Premium trim models are nearly identical to the 2014+ Luxury trim models but they just lack the updated front end and the newer infotainment system. You can certainly find a pre-facelift for under $30k.

Getting discounts isn't as easy with used cars because the margins are slimmer so I wouldn't worry too much about it. $38k is right around the appropriate range for a CPO 2014 Luxury.

I think the '10-'13 front ends were a little boring. I didn't really like the newer front ends at first, but it's grown on me over the past year or so.
