Lightbulb Diode Dynamics Fog Light Upgrade

Swapped out the factory fogs for these from Diode Dymanics
https://www.diodedynamics.com/stage-...light-kit.html

The difference in quality was stark. The massive heat sinks and solid construction made the OEM fog lights feel like a toy. They also look great and put out a ton of focused light. VERY happy with the purchase.

Nice !!!

Reminds me of the "yellow" color that MB had on mid 1980s cars.

I immediately went to order them, but they are only for older vehicles (2010-2014)

I think they are T-10 bulbs. Which is commonly used in Toyota/Lexus for side markers.

Just out of curiosity why did you end up changing out the OEM white fog lamps for the yellows? Very nice job on the switch out by the way, LOL I am one of those pay a mechanic to do everything people (I got no patience, would be broken plastic and wires everywhere)

Nice Job! I've got a few of their lights on my truck. I have been really happy with them. Sadly, their SL1 dont fit in our headlight compartment. I had to put them in the Camry. Their SL1 Fogs are nice too; though less bright than these LED pods.

I went with yellow because I kind of liked the look and I also wanted them to be true fog lights and not driving lights. I plan to only use them during bad weather and really more so people will see me better.

No need to remove bumper. On the driver side you just need to lift car up and you can reach your hand in there. There's only one screw from the factory holding the old light in place so it's not bad. On the pass side I had to remove/peel back a little of the wheel liner near the bottom as it's a bit tighter in there. The light is VERY cut off and defined. This pic is quite accurate, although on my SUV the beam itself is lower to the ground

Quite an upgrade! Thanks for sharing!

Did you have any trouble with fitment? We had one user report that the tabs didn't quite line up.

It is extremely misleading. Based on your post history, you are the one who created this image, and you're now trying to spread it for some reason.

The maximum legal output for fog lights is 12,000 candela, and this image is comparing a fog light to headlights.

Whether you want to buy upgraded fog lights is up to you, but the Diode Dynamics SS3 fog light is easily the best performing option on the market, and the price point is very competitive.

I almost went this same route to add fog lights to my 15'. I ended up getting baja design squadrons and in process of mounting them behind the grill

Well, for what it's worth, I LOVE my DiodeDynamics fogs, they are amazingly well made and bright, with a very cut off beam, just like I expected!
